These are two of my favorite pieces: plus size Gryffindor robe and Gryffindor Quidditch shirt. I'm all about Gryffindor House. I don't know if I'm chivalrous, but I've got daring and nerve coming out of my pores. I think my friends and family (who also love Harry Potter) would agree.

Plus Size Gryffindor Quidditch Shirt
My absolute favorite plus size Harry Potter shirt — I mean, FAVORITE — is my Gryffindor Quidditch shirt. It has “GRYFFINDOR” and the number “07” on the front. (Harry's number is 07.) On the back, it says “POTTER.” When I wear it, it's like I'm Harry's GF! Is that gross? Probs. I'm, like, old. It has a great distressed look around the numbers. The fabric is thick and soft, and the stitching is tight. It's a well-made shirt that isn't falling apart any time soon.
The reason this is my favorite Harry Potter piece of clothing is because it has a lot of sentimental value. In 2013, I went to Oxford, England for about a week because my cousin was living there for a year. It was a marvelous, magical trip. One of the highlights of the trip was our visit to the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour where they house pieces of movie sets, props and costumes. IT. WAS. GLORIOUS. We were there when it opened, and we closed the place down. I literally cried when it was time to leave because I didn't want to go. The only consolation was that after I exited, I got to buy this shirt. This Quidditch shirt will always be special because it reminds me of my wonderful trip.

Plus Size Gryffindor Robe
My plus size Gryffindor bath robe is really, really nice. It's thick and plush. I can't wear it just any old time, because it keeps you very warm. (That's usually a good thing.)
My husband bought this for me for Christmas one year. I was worried it wouldn't fit. It's XL, but if you're a curvy woman like me, you know XLs aren't always XL. This plus size Harry Potter robe doesn't quite wrap up the way I would like. If I had bought it for myself, I would have gotten the XXL. It has a belt, but generally, I wear it as a part of my casual cosplay, like in the photo above. If I wore it around the house my quaffles would be hanging out, y'know? I wear it to festivals or trick or treating. I wouldn't wear it to a comic con because it would be way too hot. The hood is an especially nice feature when it gets chilly outside.
XL or XXL, it's a quality piece of Harry Potter clothing that's easy to throw on when I want to geek out.
