Harry Potter Gift Guide for Plus Size Women

Looking for a Harry Potter gift guide? It can be overwhelming. There's a ton of cool Harry Potter merch out there!

Lucky for you, I put together this Harry Potter gift guide for plus size women. The beauty of my list is that there isn't anything on here that requires you to know her size. Not even the oneside (more on that later).

You see, as a plus size woman, there have been too many times when someone has given me a piece of clothing and the whole thing feels awkward. Either they give me something that's too small, which makes me feel like I'm too fat. Or, they give me something that's too big, which makes me think that they think I'm more Hagrid-sized than I am.

Get her anything from this Harry Potter gift guide and you'll be sitting prettier than Fleur Delacour.

Bonus Points: Know their Hogwarts House and order your gift in the appropriate colors.

Busy? Pin this to your Pinterest board for later.

#1 Accio Subscription Box – This Harry Potter subscription box gets rave reviews from Potterheads. Each box includes handmade items who get Harry Potter fans. You should know your recipient's House (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin or Hufflepuff) and size (goes up to 4XL).

#2 Butterbeer Candle – There are a lot of shops on Etsy that sell Harry Potter-inspired candles, but none of them look like the thing they smell like. Except at Leaky Cauldron Candles. Their Butterbeer candle looks like a frothing mug of actual Butterbeer, and from the rave reviews, smells good too. They have a ton of candles to choose from, if you'd rather get something other than Butterbeer.

#3 Butterbeer Mix – While you can mix up your own batch of Butterbeer to give to someone, you have to do it in a hurry; every recipe calls for cream soda, extracts and whipped topping of some kind. However, you can give someone a mix for hot Butterbeer, from the Witchcrafting Wiz on Etsy.

#4 Hogwarts Letter Handbag – There are a gajillion Harry Potter bags out there, but this one is classic and dear. It's designed like a letter from Hogwarts, which your recipient will especially treasure.

#5 Platform 9 3/4 Handbag – Speaking of handbags, this Harry Potter purse is also to die for. It's slightly more expensive, but roomy. The Hedwig charm makes it charming as heck.

#6 Hogwarts Letter Journal – This travel journal is perfect for your Harry Potter fan. It has the classic Hogwarts letter design. Plus, it snaps close to protect their musings.

#7 Harry Potter Makeup Brushes – These makeup brushes are elegant and useful. Four brushes represent each Hogwarts House (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin). The fifth brush is the Hogwarts crest.

#8 Honeydukes: A Scratch & Sniff Adventure – Ah, Honeydukes. The candy store of our dreams! Although you can only visit the “real” Honeydukes at Universal Studios theme parks, you can give the gift of delicious scents with this scratch ‘n' sniff book.

#9 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: Illustrated – Recently, Arthur Levine (publishing) has been putting out a new, illustrated Harry Potter book every year, all of them illustrated by Jim Kay. This year, it's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and it's absolutely gorgeous.

#10 Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Hallmark Ornament – Several years ago, Hallmark began making a Harry Potter Christmas ornament every year. This year's ornament is a replica of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Want to go all out? Get them the entire collection!

#11 Universal Studios Orlando – Give THE gift of all gifts for a Harry Potter Fan — a trip to the Wizarding World at Universal Studios in Orlando. Buy tickets through Best of Orlando to get great discounts on your tickets.
